The Frost Pilgrimage
The Annals of the North: Book One
This world does not belong to us.
It never has, and it never will.
But we will survive it.

Tragedy and war strike the frontier town of Kelengrad, and in their wake the community reels as it buries the dead. With raw wounds and aching hearts, the people plead for their Sovereign to act— and receive nothing but silence in return. Desperate, they turn to the Alkonis family for help, and take up arms against this threat themselves.
Courage can only go so far before cruel reality intervenes. A year and a half later, the Sovereign’s armies arrive at last— but not to help. Stripping the people of their weapons, their independence, and of the Alkonis family who helped them through the darkness, this new threat plunges Kelengrad into adversity once more.
In the face of this calamity, Sevastien and Rhoya Alkonis— sole heirs to their family’s Name— must make a desperate journey to escape. With winter fast approaching, they take the Frost Road into the Cold North, facing perils they could never have predicted, and bearing a cost more terrible than they could imagine.
This is the tale of their Frost Pilgrimage. The struggle begins now.

I began practicing the craft as a wide-eyed youngster, knowing that one day I would bring the tales running rampant in my imagination to life as an author.
M. and I are weaving an old dream into reality. It is an experience both gratifying and surreal, and I cherish every step in this incredible journey we’ve undertaken.

Critical by nature, I have always been drawn to the “why’s and how’s” of the world, constantly obsessing over its fascinating details.
Annoren has been a lifelong adventure for N. and I since we were children, and together we hope to share those tales with all of you.
